In game three between Nationals and D-Backs on the mound will be sent Stephen Strasburg (for Nationals) and Patrick Corbin (for D-Backs). They are two of the best young pitchers in baseball, and they’re proving it so far this season. While Strasburg comes into the duel just 4-6 on the season, his other numbers show a different story. The right-hander boasts a 2.40 ERA in 2013, but has received the worst run support in the Majors at 2.64 runs per game. At this point last year with a similar ERA at 2.46, Strasburg was 9-1. The 24-year-old won his last time out, limiting the Rockies to just one run on five hits over seven innings on Friday.  Moreover Strasburg has a 1.12 home ERA this season. In addition Strasburg has allowed a run in 1st inning only two times in his last 10 starts.

On the other hand D-Backs’ starting pitcher Corbin is 9-0 with 2.19 ERA this year. And he has allowed a run in 1st inning only two times in his last 10 starts. In this statistics he is totally equal with his opponent. In his last start, Corbin surrendered just one run on three hits over eight innings vs. the high-powered Reds’ offense. This performance is just outstanding when we know what kind of team are Reds.

When we know all these facts we think it’s not a hard task to pick up the right bet here. Take the Under and GL!
